Rebuys & Double Rebuys
Your initial buy-in of $100 awards you a starting stack of 5,000 in tournament chips.
Rebuys cost $50 and will award you 5,000 tournament chips. Double rebuys cost $100 and will award you 10,000 tournament chips.
You can rebuy any time you are under 10,000 chips until 9:30pm.
To add more chips during play, click Menu and select Add more chips…
If you get knocked out before 9:30pm, you will see a pop-up appear with an option to rebuy or double rebuy. If you choose not to rebuy, that will end your tournament play and you will not be able to re-enter at that point.
Find out how much money you will owe at the end of the tournament.
The way the online platform works is that we will start you with $1,000 of house credit PLUS your initial buy-in (and any prepaid rebuys). If you check your initial balance before you enter the tournament, it will be $1,100 (plus any prepaid rebuys). Don’t worry, you were only charged the $100 buy-in. Any re-buys in the tournament will deduct from your balance. At the end of your tournament play, you’ll owe the difference from $1000.
To check your balance, at any time, go to the Lobby and click the Logins tab. At the bottom, click Account Balance.
In this case, you’d need to settle up $150 ($1,000 – $850).
You will be contacted via email to pay your ending balance via Credit Card, PayPal, or Venmo.
Get the best settings for the best tournament experience.
There are several table settings I’d recommend to make the tournament more enjoyable.
To get to the settings, start from the Lobby and click Options. Then click Table Settings from the dropdown menu.
These are the settings I suggest for most players. (If you want to have the ability to show your hand after a showdown uncheck Auto Muck, but you will have to actively make a decision on every hand you win.)
Move to your preferred seat.
I personally like to sit in the middle of the table at the bottom. Since this is online, it’s easy to adjust the table visually so you can sit wherever you like.
Once you’ve joined your table. Click Menu in the upper right of the table window. Then click Rotate seats.
Here you can rotate until you’re sitting where you want. When done, click OK.
I just signed up how long will it take to get a login? – Check your email, we may have already sent it to you. But, we currently enter all logins manually, so we’re doing them as we see them. So, it could be 5 minutes or an hour. If the tournament is about to start (or has already started) you’ll see an email with login credentials very soon.
What do I do if I am having problems and can’t get on zoom or reach anyone? – Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do I have to join the zoom call? No, but poker is a social game, and this is one of the few times these days that you’ll be able to see who you’re playing against. We think it’s more fun!
How much does Zoom cost? To join and play, it’s free!
